How these have prepared me for my future academic goals

1. READING: Synthesize interdisciplinary discourses, including literary texts, representative of diverse voices and experiences.
2. WRITING: Compose a variety of print and multimodal analytical and interpretive texts, including academic essays, that demonstrate critical thinking in response to multiple rhetorical, academic, and real world contexts. 3. INFO LITERACY: Produce research from experiential knowledge as well as digital, print, and multimedia sources for synthesis in compositions and projects for various purposes, audiences, and contexts. 4. STYLE: Adapt authentic voice in response to multiple rhetorical situations. 5. METACOGNITION: Implement strategies based on reflection on reading, composing, thinking, and learning processes. |
These SLO's have provided an disciplinary set of academic standards that not only have helped me with my own Authentic Voice, but have also laid out a set of requirements that I had to follow in order to meet the parameters of any given assignment. Not only have these helped me in this course but I've found that they have helped me in my other courses. For my future goals this will help me by reinforcing what I already know onto other courses that I will take.
