Demonstration of learningThe artifact I chose for this SLO is my own Profile Essay. I wrote about my personal experience with bullying and talked about how it affected me and how my situation isn't unique, how many kids experience bullying. I started the essay with a personal memory that I had when I was in elementary and how it was relevant to the topic of my essay by providing a, "shock value." It was difficult to open up about what I had to go through in elementary school but I am glad I did it because if I can do it then I know that somewhere someone else can have the same confidence that I now have by sharing their experience.
